Completing a To-Do
To-Do’s can be competed from 3 areas in the program. Once you open the to-do itself all the instructions are the same. They can be accessed from Your Dashboard or the Client’s Dashboard in the To-Do widget or from the Activity button at the top of the screen.
Open the To-Do you want to action on.
Check the box for List as Completed
You can write completion comments at the bottom and save
OR
You can click “Update and Document” if you want to add a Document Time note (when you save this note your To-Do will automatically save as completed)
Delete person duplicates

- Click “select as main person” for the profile you want to keep

To remove the name from the let column you must exit this screen and open it again

Set up notifications - for To-do’s, messaging, scheduling, flags, plan of care signatures
- Profiles
- All or Staff depending on who you are looking to set
- Select the persons name
- Account & Status
- Select Email and/or Text for the Preferred Communication Method for Notifications
- Set Status to Active
- Select a Start Date
Send a message to a user
NOTE: users must have notifications set up in their profile to receive messages – please follow instructions for Set up Notifications before sending messages.
Click the yellow envelop icon in the top right corner
Click the “+” icon in the top right of the drop down box
Click in the To field and select a name or type a the first few letters of a name to narrow the search, you can add as many recipients to the list as you would like
Pertains to allows you to select from a dropdown of clients associated to the person you are messaging; only works if you are sending secure messages
Type your message in the box
Click “SEND”
Depending on the set up of your company you may have the option at the bottom of the message screen to send your message unsecured. If selected the user will receive your message exactly as written instead of a message to log in and view the message in CNS. It is your responsibility to follow HIPPA regulations.
